“Almost two decades ago, I endured a significant injury that left untreated burns on my face. Unfortunately, the wounds became infected, leading to additional scars on my face, neck, and chest. Despite enduring harsh dermabrasion, numerous laser treatments, and more recently, micro needling, the persistent issue of hypopigmentation remained. The wounds healed without pigment, standing out prominently against the otherwise healthy but slightly rosy surrounding skin. The texture of my skin became far from smooth, resembling that of a villain in a film.

Over the years, photos of me were either heavily photoshopped or meticulously lit to conceal the scars. I became adept at using cheek-to-cheek hugs as a form of camouflage when unable to control the photo situation. I avoided mirrors and friends who knew me "before." Applying a combination of concealer and rouge in a meticulous stippling process became an exhausting routine. Despite my efforts, I knew I would never wake up to a different face.

Then, I discovered Hallie and her shop, Adorn Cosmetics, through a Google search for scar camouflage or reconstruction. Nervous and self-conscious at first, my feelings transformed into comfort during our initial meeting. Hallie, a gentle and kind professional, proved to be a straight shooter, making no promises she couldn't fulfill. At that moment, as she examined the uneven, battle-scarred terrain of my face, neck, and chest, I sensed her concern but also her determination.

Remaining committed, I diligently followed Hallie's directions for healing between sessions and avoided sun exposure. Hallie worked her magic, acknowledging the difficulty of pigmentation on scar tissue. Perfection was never my expectation; I simply desired not to stand out and draw the critical gaze of strangers. A recent encounter with a friend, James, an artist, who was unaware of my sessions with Hallie, left me with a heartening text: "Just a note to say today you looked...'fine' 'shiny' lovely...keep it up."

Additionally, after Hallie worked on my right cheek and neck, she requested a healing progress photo. Without concern for angles, lighting, or strategic posing, I took a spontaneous picture on the street and saw myself as beautiful—sans Photoshop and elaborate adjustments. That, to me, is nothing short of a miracle.”

I have to admit I'm a huge needle phob but when my eyebrows disappeared I was desperate. My daughter-in-law did all the research for me and we found Hallie. I cannot begin to tell you how professional she is. She measured my brow line, stenciled the shape we decided on and the color best for me. She numbed my brows and in 1.5 hours I had the most gorgeous new brows. A month later I returned for a slight touch up in a small area where the dye didn't completely take. Once again Hallie was superb. She has called me twice since my procedure just to check up on me and my brows. She is my go to brow artist and should be yours too!

I’m older, and my hair has gone gray. Once I started coloring the gray, I had to start using eyebrow pencil to make my eyebrows and hair match. So tiresome! Hallie listened carefully to what I wanted ... undramatic eyebrows that look natural while matching my chosen hair color. I’m definitely not someone who ever thought they’d have their eyebrows done, but I’m so glad I did! Hallie is professional and patient, and the procedure was comfortable.

Professional, Responsive ,Passionate, Skilled, informative, Customized service for Men's Brows . -I have tattoos ,so the " pain " isn't new to me. -There's a numbing cream that works wonders. -You can feel just a small amount of " scratches " however if it ever got to be " too much "I'd let her know and she'd put more numbing cream on. -Hallie is the person I want doing MY brows.
